A 93-year-old woman has been left fighting for her life after a fall. 

In a statement, police said that the woman was walking along Triq Il-Ferrovija In Santa Venera when she suddenly fell, 

A medical team was immediately on site and she was rushed to Mater Dei. 

A magisterial inquiry has been opened, police investigations are underway.
