Armed And Dangerous Man Robs St Paul’s Bay Gambling Store, Threatens 21-Year-Old Female Worker

A man wielding a knife and wearing a face-covering entered into a St Paul’s Bay gambling store today and robbed it, fleeing with an unidentified amount of cash.

Police were informed of the robbery in Triq il-Qroll, St Paul’s Bay, at around noon today.

During the robbery, the man dealt with a 21-year-old female worker, demanding she give him the cash.

The robber fled the scene soon after. Police confirmed that no one was injured in the robbery.

A manhunt is now on for the thief.

Magistrate Elaine Mercieca has opened an inquiry into the crime as police investigations are underway.
