Bernard Grech Re-Elected As Nationalist Party’s Leader
Bernard Grech has been re-elected as leader of the Nationalist Party, with over an 80% majority.
A turnout of around 90% from 1,564 members of the PN’s General Council was seen during the voting period.
“Today is a crucial day for the party,” Bernard Grech said earlier after he had just cast his vote.
The news was unveiled by Peter Fenech, who is the president of the PN’s electoral commission, saying that an 80% majority is highly likely.
The voting process for the PN’s leader had been open since Friday and closed today at 5pm.
