Fans of dirty cars, rejoice. Before this week’s sunny spell, today is set to have a generous helping of strong winds, showers and a whole lot of dust.

As more rain falls across the islands, photos started showing up from all over Malta of imposing clouds and all round brown AF landscapes.

Most of this weather is down to the strong southeasterly winds that are currently blowing rain clouds from Africa into the southern Mediterranean. In fact, the wind is expected to reach Force 7 on multiple occasions over the day.
