A rescue operation is underway in Sliema as emergency responders gather near Tigne’ Point.
Details are still scarce, but police were able to confirm with Lovin Malta that a rescue operation is underway after a man fell in the area.
The nature of the man’s fall is not yet known, nor the man’s identity.

Several nurses, ambulances as well as officers from the Civil Protection Department are on scene just below The Chophouse Restaurant as officers discuss the best way forward to attempt to rescue the individual.
A small crowd has gathered as the rescue mission is underway.
