IN PHOTOS: 3pm, 16th October, Two Years Later – Silent And Sombre Vigil For Daphne Caruana Galizia In Bidnija

At 3 pm on 16th October 2017, a mother and wife was blown up outside her home in an assassination that rocked Malta.
Today, people gathered in silence to remember the murder of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, standing right at the spot where her car was ripped apart by a car bomb.
Placing flowers at the site, the vigil was sombre with the masterminds behind her murder still at large 760 days later.
Local and foreign activists were in attendance, as were political figures, like Ombudsman Anthony Mifsud, MEP Roberta Metsola, MP Simon Busuttil, and MP Karol Aquilina.
The search for truth and justice continues this evening, with a rally taking place later today in Valletta at 7 pm.
