An inmate at the Corradino Correctional Facility has been found dead inside his cell.

Malta Today has quoted sources saying that the inmate was residing inside Division 4. Few other details were given.

An investigation has been opened. Lovin Malta is informed that a victim is a 30-year-old man, believed to be an Indian national. Sources have said that the death is the result of a suicide attempt. However, this is yet to be confirmed.
