It Is Horrifying How An Alleged Murderer Can Casually Post Online Whilst The Police Are Waiting Outside

A man accused of the horrifying murder of his wife somehow found the audacity to post on Facebook, as well as message the femicide victim, Bernice Cassar’s family members, during his 17-hour self-inflicted lockdown inside his house.
During the whole commotion, the police had to patiently wait outside, because the armed Roderick Cassar was still threatening them.
Cassar, allegedly shot his wife, a mother of two, on 22nd November. He was arrested at 2am this morning after police bolted down his door.
During the 17 hours before the arrest, Cassar addressed a Facebook post to his children, stating that he is sorry and that he loves them.

Cassar’s murder has brought to our attention the severe flaws in our system. How is it acceptable for an alleged murderer to be able to post and contact the victim’s family members online hours after the murder?
The alarming lack of respect towards Bernice and her family is incomprehensible and horrifying, and with the entire nation mourning her death, only time will tell if any serious changes will come about.
What do you make of an alleged murderer casually posting on social media, whilst the police are right outside his house?
