Disability rights activist and Labour MP Oliver Scicluna will appear this today’s edition of Lovin Daily, Lovin Malta’s daily news show.

Scicluna was previously Commissioner for the Rights of Persons with Disability before being co-opted into Parliament in January.

He has been involved in the sector for a number of years and has been a key figurehead in championing disability rights. He is also the chairman of the National Commission for Persons with a Disability.

In his first political address last month, he called for a change in the way Malta views disabilities, pledging to break past partisan ties to change prejudices and ideas about what it means to live with a disability.

Lovin Malta’s hosts will interview Scicluna about his new parliamentary role and his plans to better disability rights for Maltese citizens.
