Father In Malta Who Sexually Abused Two Daughters Justifies Crime As Sexual Education

A father in Malta who sexually abused his two daughters for six years has been handed a four-year prison sentence.
Shockingly, the accused admitted to the acts but tried to justify them, saying he was exposing them to sexual education and the perils of masturbation.
Times of Malta reported that the children, aged just 12 and 13 when the ordeal began in 2009, were forced to perform sexual acts to get permission to go on field trips or visit youth centres or as a form of punishment.
The younger daughter explained in court that the abuse began when she asked her mother for permission to go on a school trip to Gozo. She told her no, so she went to her father instead.
Her father told her she could go if she performed a sexual act on him. This would go on at least once a month. The same conditions were forced upon her when she asked to visit a parish youth club.
Another instance saw the younger daughter wake her father after a night out with friends, after which he punished her with a sexual act.
The victim said she spoke to her sister, who admitted going through the same ordeal. They divulged the details to their mother who reported to authorities.
While the father did admit to the abuse, he insisted that his daughters had forgiven him and therefore should not go to prison. His argument was rubbished by the court.
“For a long time, they had to submit themselves to the evil will of their father and kept silent to keep the family stable,” the court said confirming his sentence.
