Local Interior Designer Becomes Only Maltese Person This Year To Be Listed In An International Publication For Iconic Designs
Sean Cassar is a leading interior designer who runs the successful firm Design Hub in Malta. His impressive portfolio includes Hammett’s Gastrobar, newly-opened The Prickly Pear, Tosca, Salt and The Oriental Garden (to name a few), and after a list of awards, recognition for the local designer has now gone international.
His awards include the Malta’s Best Young Entrepreneur Award 2015 and he was honoured with Chairman’s Value Award presented by her Excellency the President of Malta for the Malta’s Best In Business Awards 2016.
Cassar was recently featured in the latest architecture & design Beyond Black series, where this year’s theme was Design Icons. Not only that, but he was the only Maltese designer featured on the list.
Beyond Black is an exceptionally high-end publisher of coffee table book series and a magazine.
”We have invited participants from different continents to offer their own definition of iconic and to identify their project or projects that best fit that definition,” the editors of the publication said. “Some of those featured are globally recognized and celebrated household names; others are trailblazing their way to creating the iconic designs of tomorrow”.
“In all my restaurant projects I take care of the brand identity, bringing the brand, menu and ambience altogether as one holistic project,” Cassar told Lovin Malta of his award-winning work. Check out the feature below!
