The Archdiocese of Malta has officially stated that they have no connection to the group who took out a full-page ad in several Maltese newspapers, which decried gay marriage as the work of the devil and unnatural.

Speaking to Newsbook.com.mt, the communications office for the Curia has stated they never put out ads under a different name, and while they respect everyone's right to express their own views, Maltese Catholics United for the Faith is not a subset of theirs.

You know things are bad when even the Catholic church officially distances itself from you.
