Police Seize Cocaine With €250,000 Street Value In St Paul’s Bay Anti-Drugs Operation
Police seized five kilos of cocaine with an estimated street value of €250,000 in an anti-drugs operation in St Paul’s Bay over the weekend.
In a statement this morning, police said weeks of investigations culminated in the arrest of two suspected drug traffickers – a 44-year-old Maltese man and a 49-year-old Italian man.
The Maltese man was found in possession of three kilos of cocaine, while the Italian was found in possession of two kilos, as well as a large amount of cash in his vehicle.
The two men will be charged in court this morning.
