The charity organisation took to social media to remember the organisation’s late-President, writing “Dr. Calvagna, today we would have been celebrating your Birthday. We would have got you a cake, shared a joke and dreamt of more years of celebrations together. Yet here we are another year without you”.

“Our only gift now is to honour your memory by naming the Puttinu premises in London after you, ensuring your legacy lives on,” the charity organisation continued.

“We miss your presence always. Pray for us from heaven and celebrate among the angels… till we meet again”.

Calvagna was 63 when he was hit by a car in Qawra on 28th December 2021. After he had been brain dead for several days, he died a week later.

His death shocked the entire nation, drawing an outpour of grief across the country.

Rest in peace, Dr. Calvagna
