Two German Tourists Spend Holiday Helping Out At Maltese Animal Shelter
Malta’s four-legged friends got a holiday treat of their own thanks to two kind-hearted Germans, Camilla and Marijana, who spent part of their vacation lending a hand at a local animal shelter.
The duo didn’t just drop by for a photo op, they put on boots and gloves and got stuck into all the chores, from cleaning rooms and washing bowls to laying fresh bedding and tackling any other jobs the shelter needed.
They also got to meet and cuddle the shelter’s furry residents, making the experience just as special for themselves as it was for the animals.
The Association for Abandoned Animals took to social media to thank the pair, calling their efforts “wonderful” and “heartwarming.”
It’s the perfect reminder that sometimes, a little help and a lot of love can go a long way, for both humans and pups alike.
