For the second time this week, an entire dead tuna has washed up onto Maltese shores. Well, close enough to touch the Maltese shores – but tunas, which can weigh up to 680kg, aren’t the easiest thing to get out of the sea and onto land.

Today’s tuna washed up in St. George’s Bay, St. Julian’s, and was quickly spotted by the beachgoers nearby. However, it didn’t take too long for some people to attempt to take the tuna for themselves, using any means possible.

Until a new plan was hatched – jet ski time.

And together, they literally drove away into the horizon with the entire tuna – which could be worth up over €10,000 if the fish is still fresh.
