Magnitude 5.3 Earthquake Off The Coast Of Libya Felt In Southern Malta

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 hit just off the eastern coast of Libya yesterday night, some 187 kilometers away from Benghazi. But it was felt all the way back in Malta.
In a Facebook post from this morning, the University of Malta’s Seismic Monitoring And Research Group (SMRG) noted how the quake was recorded on the Wied Dalam Seismic Station just at 11:31pm.
