Malta’s Weather This Week Is Perfect For People Desperate For Winter

The weather in Malta has been gradually getting wetter and colder, but winter on the islands is set to get even closer this week.
The average temperature, which has already been quite fresh, will go down by a solid 4°C, and will see the islands flirt with temperatures below 20°C.
The weather over the next couple of days will be mostly cloudy, with today potentially also seeing some rain. The temperatures will vary from 19°C from 21°C, with lows going all the way down to 14°C. For some context, that’s very close to the lowest average for November temperatures (17°C and 11°C), and we’re still in the first week of the month.

The weekend, on the other hand, is set to be wintery AF. Thundery showers are currently on the forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and while the temperatures will remain the same (even going slightly up to highs of 21°C and lows of 16°C on Friday), strong winds will definitely make for a cold couple of days.
What will start off as Force 4 southeasterly winds on Friday will eventually build up to Force 6 Majjistral (northwest) over Sunday, so maybe hold off on those swimming plans this weekend.
