A man was caught masturbating while looking at children playing at the San Ġwann playground.

The man, who was spotted hiding next to the bushes by the bus stop, was spotted by a woman who was passing by at around 6pm on 3rd October.

“I have lived in San Ġwann for 10 months now, and this is the second time that I’ve spotted this man masturbating while hiding next to the bushes of the park in the afternoon,” the woman told Lovin Malta.

She called him out and told him to stop his indecent behaviour. However, the man instead showed her his penis when she walked past him. He then fled the scene.

Describing his appearance, the woman said that he was dark-skinned, tall, stocky and approximately 40 to 50 years old.

“It really scares me since he does this while watching children, even at times when the neighbourhood is busy,” she said.

“If he stands behind the bushes to watch children play in the park and when women pass by he shows them his penis, it’s terrible and I’m very afraid.”

She now plans to file a police report with the San Ġwann police station, having taken photos of the man before he left the area.

This is the third incident to be reported by Lovin Malta concerning indecent behaviour and sexual harassment occurring in the locality of San Ġwann.
