The upcoming theatrical performance called ‘Walking Home’ is based on real sexual assault events.

“Walking Home is a devised performance exploring the politics and tensions within the issue of sexual violence against women and people of marginalised genders,” the production company, Prickly Pear Productions, exclaimed.

The play is based on more than 40 real stories gathered from people all around the world, from all walks of life.

It follows a work colleague who’s sexually assaulted, and whilst ”emotions run high, deadlines need to be met”.

The performance is directed by Chantelle Micallef Grimaud, and includes a stellar cast consisting of Sean Borg, Michela Farrugia, Alex Weenink, and Zoë Alba Farrugia.

It will be performed on 16th-18th June at Teatru Astra in Gozo, and in Valletta’s Spazju Kreattiv between 21st-23rd July.

Tickets are out now! Find more information here.
