BREAKING: Joseph Muscat Reportedly Set To Resign As Malta’s Prime Minister Imminently
Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has announced internally that he intends to announce his resignation, Times of Malta has reported.
According to Times of Malta, Muscat gave notice of his plans to step down during a meeting this morning with President George Vella.
This comes in the wake of major developments in the investigation into the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia. Businessman Yorgen Fenech has been arrested while the Prime Minister’s former chief of staff Keith Schembri was also arrested but was released last night.
