Maintenance Worker Dies In Dwejra After Public Toilet Roof Caves In On Him
A 52-year-old maintenance worker from Xewkija died today while carrying out works on a public toilet in Dwejra, Gozo.
Police said the public toilet’s roof caved in on him while he was carrying out maintenance work at around 9:30am.
Medics and Civil Protection Department officials were called on site but they were unable to rescue him.
A magisterial inquiry has been opened.
