Mobile phone footage has emerged of a three-story block of apartments collapsing in Telgħa ta’ Gwardamangia late this evening.

According to TVM, the residents were inside the apartment when it started to shake and quickly rushed out. The entire building came crashing down shortly afterwards and investigations are ongoing to determine what caused it.

“Thankfully I haven’t been reduced to rubble like the building has,” a resident told the state broadcaster.

Thankfully, nobody was hurt, but the incident caused a commotion among the neighbours.
