Hope For Paws: Help Fabio Spiteri Reach His Goal Of Raising €100,000 For Malta’s Animals
Hope for Paws – a charity event being held on the 28th July in Giardini Lambrosa, Rabat – will help animal lover and incredible athlete Fabio Spiteri reach his goal of raising €100,000 for local animal shelters – and you are invited.
“Help Us Help and Real Animal Rights Foundation are organising an event to raise funds to help Fabio reach his target of €100,000 to help strays,” an event organiser told Lovin Malta.
“We’ve named the event ‘Hope for Paws’ and we wanted to give the event a taste of elegance – that’s why we chose Giardini Lambrosia.”
Fabio Spiteri had initially aimed to raise this money by competing in an absolutely behemoth challenge. After seven gruelling days, Fabio had to pull out of the challenge due to severe injuries.
Still, upon returning to Malta, it was clear that Fabio and the community supporting him were not prepared to let his goal go. A Wag n Walk fundraising event had been organised within a week of his arrival.
With the help of RAR and HUH, Fabio is looking to complete his fundraising mission, even if the Deck Ultra Triathlon challenge proved too much – this time around, that is.
“Join us for an extraordinary evening of grace, as we come together for a prestigious fundraising event, with one mission in mind; to make a difference in the lives of rescued animals and support volunteers who are an asset to the wellbeing of our animal welfare community,” said event organisers in a post to social media.
“You will meet like minded people and above all, be part of those who make a difference.”
