WATCH: 77-Year-Old Maltese Nannu Fulfils Lifelong Dream Of Skydiving, And It’s #BucketlistGoals
77-year-young Frans Attard fulfilled a lifelong dream of his when he parachuted out of a plane 4,200 metres above Sicily last weekend.
Whilst most grandparents enjoy a more laidback lifestyle, Frans Attard is out here going through, and ticking off, everything on his bucketlist… including jumping out of a plane at nearly 200 kilometres per hour.
“Sports Parachuting is something I always wanted to do,” Frans said about his latest adventure.
“I planned this jump in Sicily without telling my wife or family so that no one would want to talk me out of it and not to cause any headaches!”
The self-confessed “big kid” is best known for his unique street atlas of Malta The mAZe and for being the author who translated the children’s education book, ‘Milly, Molly’ into Maltese.
“It is without any doubt the most exciting thing I’ve ever done!” he said of the experience. “The contrast after the parachute opened was amazing.”
“I’d happily recommend jumping out of a plane to anyone just to experience those moments of silence floating high above the tiny fields and enjoying seeing the curvature of this beautiful earth.”
Attard’s awesome accomplishment goes to show that age is really just a number!
