Despite living with the condition, Down Syndrome has not stopped Gayle from pursuing her dreams. In fact, she was Miss Teen Senglea in 2022, and is very much into the Maltese modelling scene.

“Even though I have Down syndrome, I still have dreams, goals, and rights like everyone else,” she said, addressing her followers.

“Let’s not judge one another and give equal opportunities.”

“Let’s come together to support and let’s empower individuals like myself with Down syndrome,” she continued.

This is not the first time that Gayle was vocal about inclusivity for individuals with Down syndrome. She previously told Lovin Malta that parents of children with this syndrome should not be afraid “of this beautiful journey”.

“Our extra chromosomes makes us extraordinary children,” she added.
