Posters Slamming ‘Egrant Crooks’ Plastered On Makeshift Daphne Caruana Galizia Memorial

Posters showing former Leader of the Opposition Simon Busuttil, MEP David Casa, slain journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia and informant Maria Efimova have been stuck onto the makeshift memorial to the journalist outside the law courts in Valletta.
The black and yellow posters feature the words “Crooks everywhere you look”, referencing Caruana Galizia’s haunting last words. The posters appeared on roads around Malta this morning, but they’ve now been added to the memorial found on the Great Siege memorial.
The posters seem to be a response to other posters and various other means of protest that were spotted around Malta since Caruana Galizia’s murder. They come after the findings of the Egrant inquiry absolved the Muscat family of any wrongdoing, and intensifying criticism against Simon Busuttil and his allies.
The posters appear on the same that day PD’s Marlene and Godfrey Farrugia were threatened to stop undermining Leader of the Opposition Adrian Delia or face a “second case like Daphne’s”.

Instead of affixing posters I would have cleared everything. It’s about time. The ruthless mastermind behind the Egrant fabrication doesn’t deserve being commemorated on a national monument. #Malta @IndependentMlt @Europarl_EN pic.twitter.com/Fsbuuqq4bc
