Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera has listed the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola among the Women of the Year.

Journalists chose 102 women who have left their mark during a year characterised by international events.

The list includes Narges Mohammadi, who won the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen, and the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, amongst others.

This list continues to add to the number of accolades received by President Metsola in 2023, having been included in the TIME100 Next list, and Politico’s annual ranking of Europe’s most influential people.
