Floriana FC Triumphs In Belfast In Historic Achievement For The Greens
Floriana FC have done it again, beating out Northern Ireland’s Linfield FC in Belfast last night.
“Full time: Linfield FC 0 Floriana FC 1 – Floriana FC triumph in Belfast,” the team’s social media proudly said after the win.
“Floriana FC produced a superb display and advanced to the UEFA Europa League Third Qualifying Round thanks to a 1-0 victory over Linfield F.C thus ensuring a historic night in Belfast,” they continued.
“Thank you boys in green! History is made!”
Floriana will now head to their next match with Estonia’s Flora FC, and if they win they will head to a playoff before then qualifying for the UEFA Europa League.
Judging from their stellar performance last night, let’s keep our fingers crossed for Floriana’s continued wins!
