Italy emerged triumphant over Malta’s national team during last night’s Euro 2024 qualifying match.

The Italian team’s two goals were both scored in the first half, in the 15th and 27th minutes. 

They were secured by Matteo Retegui and Matteo Pessina.

The match marked Malta’s second defeat in the qualifiers, while it was Italy’s first win after losing to England a few days back.

During upcoming qualifiers, Malta will also be facing the national England team.
