Maltese Primary School Teacher Becomes Two-Time WFF European Bikini Champion
Maltese primary school teacher and bodybuilder Leanne Bartolo (hooray for diverse successful career paths!) slayed the competition at the WFF European Bikini Championship in the UK over the weekend to take a well deserved victory… making it her second consecutive one, too!
The local star is no stranger to out-performing her rivals in competitions, as she won the same championship back in 2018 and also bagged herself a podium spot in the WFF World Championship in California.
Bartolo had been keeping her family, friends and fans updated on the run-up to the weekend’s championship on her Facebook page, excitedly streaming the opening ceremony ahead of Sunday’s challenge in the Middleton Arena
This morning, a visibly more relieved Leanne posted a photo from the airport, with the awesome caption, “Coming back home a European champion”.
With any luck, Leanne will continue making every Maltese person envious with her unbeatable skills and continue to raise our little island’s flag on all the podiums she will inevitably stand on in the future.
