WATCH: Maltese Champion Bodybuilder Gets His Own Well-Deserved BBC Spotlight

A Maltese bodybuilder making waves in the UK and Europe has just had a BBC video made about him. In ‘Champion Bodybuilder’, 25-year-old Luke Debono speaks about his wins, his passion for bodybuilding, and his day job as a special needs teacher in England.
Having lived in Kent for three years, his accent isn’t exactly there anymore – but the Maltese determination clearly is.
“I cannot believe it. My personal story has been featured on the BBC. Such an honour and privilege. I am truly lost for words. Feeling so blessed and grateful. Humbled, to say the least… Thank you to all those who have supported me in my work, sport and life,” he said in a public post after the video came out.
Luke Debono won the 2016 Arnold Classic Europe in Barcelona, the equivalent of the World Cup of bodybuilding
