Watch: Young Sailor Brings Home Bronze From ILCA World Championships
Young sailor Katrina Micallef brought back a bronze medal from the ILCA 4 Youth World Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal.
Footage shared by the Royal Malta Yacht Club shows Katrina celebrating her victory as she sailed back with a Maltese flag in hand and a huge smile on her face.
The ILCA 4 Youth World Championships are a set of sailing boat races which take place over a nine-day period.
The Championships have several different categories and are a great initiative for youths to continue to grow in the world of sailing.
Well done to Katrina and to all the coaching staff involved at the Championships!-
