WATCH: Bus Valiantly Thrusts Through Pembroke Flood As Rising Waters Form Around Passenger’s Feet

Last Friday, Malta – as always – got absolutely slammed as soon as a forecast thunderstorm his the island, with surfers and mini tidal waves casually appearing all over the island.
A video that captured the chaos that comes whenever a bit of water hits the island has already garnered over 22,000 views – and with good reason.

Set to the famous Titanic soundtrack, the video shows a Maltese bus heroically attempting to make it through a water-clogged road in Pembroke as more and more cars pull up to the side in defeat.
Passengers remain calm as blinking car-lights reflect in their faces and waves splash against the window. They don’t even really react when a bit of water starts seeping into the place.
However, they are soon forced to lift their legs up as water coming in from the front door meets and connects with water coming in from the middle door, kind of like the parted seas after Moses was done with them.
To their credit, passengers remain pretty chill, and the bus continues its journey, ferrying people across the land…. and sea.
Considering that most drivers turned back or just gave up and waited until the water subsided, we have to give it to the bus driver for getting people where they need to go – whether it is rain or shine.
