Police Operation Underway In Qrendi To Arrest Bernice Cassar’s Suspected Killer
A delicate police operation is currently underway in Qrendi to arrest a person suspected of murdering 40-year-old Bernice Cassar in Raħal Ġdid this morning.
TVM reported that the operation is taking place in Triq il-Kartaġiniżi, which has been completely closed off to traffic.
NET News has also gone live from the scene, with footage showing several police officers surrounding a building.
Cassar was shot dead during an argument at Kordin’s industrial estate at around 8am this morning. Police confirmed that three shots were fired and that the victim’s body was found behind a parked Nissan Qashqai.
The aggressor fled the scene.
