Steve Ellul Appointed CEO Of Infrastructure Malta

In a significant reshuffling at Infrastructure Malta, Steve Ellul has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer, following Ivan Falzon’s resignation.
Transport Minister Chris Bonett expressed his gratitude towards Falzon for his dedicated service and extended warm wishes to Ellul as he steps into his new role.
Steve Ellul is a seasoned financial analyst and lecturer at the University of Malta, brings a wealth of experience to the table.
His career includes pivotal roles at the Bank of Valletta, where he managed both local and international investments, spanning the United States, United Kingdom, and the Middle East.
More recently, Ellul has been a leading consultant in sustainable enterprise development, pushing forward the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda in Malta. His efforts have significantly influenced how Maltese businesses approach environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
Previously, Ellul spearheaded Project Green, where he initiated impactful environmental projects across San Ġwann and Bormla and launched the Community Greening Grant. This initiative has led to substantial environmental investments across 16 localities in Malta and Gozo.
Under his leadership, Project Green has revitalised 40,000 square metres of open space, leading to the creation of new family parks in Birżebbuġa and expansions in Żabbar, Mosta, and Marsaskala. His efforts have also seen the enhancement of gardens in Qrendi, Gudja, Safi, and Kalkara,
