Strong Winds Expected In Malta Tonight As Weather Warning Released By MIA

Malta is forecast to be buffeted by strong winds tonight as the Malta International Airport released a yellow warning over the incoming gales.

“The Easterly wind, which will back East Northeast, will be strong over the exposed areas of the Maltese Islands,” the meteorological team said today.

The winds are expected to last until around 11pm tonight.

Malta has been treated to a spot of sunshine over the last few days, intercut with sudden winds.

The strong gales tonight are expected to affect open areas the most.
