Swieqi Woman Arrested After Ordering Cannabis And Shipping It To Her Home

A woman is in custody after police from the Drug Squad found a package with 600g of cannabis en route to her house via the postal service.

Arriving from the US, the package will see the 29-year-old charged with importation, possession and trafficking of drugs. She is expected to be arraigned tomorrow morning.

The police worked with officials from the Customs Department on this case, and are continuing their investigations.
