A Mosta shop was robbed at gunpoint last night with the two thieves fleeing with a sum of cash and phone top-up cards.

According to police reports, a man entered the shop with a firearm and demanded money from the 36-year-old shop clerk while another man stood guard by the door.

They managed to steal a sum of cash and phone top-up cards before fleeing.

The incident happened at 6.30pm on Constitution Street in Mosta. Police investigations are ongoing.
