Three Workers At Risk Of Dying After Kordin Construction Site Collapse, One Still Not Found
Three workers are at risk of dying after getting buried in this morning’s construction site collapse in Kordin, while one has still not been found.
A total of six construction workers suffered injuries as a result of the collapse, which occurred this morning at around 10am in Kordin’s industrial estate.
The five workers recovered have been identified as three Albanian men, one Maltese, and another man from Bosnia, Police said.
Three of the workers were certified to be suffering from life-threatening injuries, one with grievous injuries, and another with light injuries.
A delicate search by members of the CPD for the sixth worker is still ongoing at the site of the incident.
An inquiry is being led by Magistrate Marseann Farrugia, while police investigations are still ongoing.
