Transport Malta Officer Injured By Struck Motorcycle While Closing Road After Traffic Accident In Mdina
A Transport Malta official suffered grievous injuries after a car struck his motorcycle earlier today while he was closing a road that had just seen a traffic accident.
The incident happened at around 9am along Triq l-Infetti, Mdina, police confirmed.
The Transport Malta official’s motorcycle was hit by a Hyundai Tucson driven by a 46-year-old resident of Naxxar, causing the motorcycle to fall over.
As a result of this, the motorcycle hit the 51-year-old Transport Malta official upon falling over, causing grievous injuries.
He was then transported to Mater Dei hospital to receive care for his injuries.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
