Maltese singer Kurt Calleja shared an emotional video of himself days after performing his song ‘Bla Tarf’ in front of thousands at Mużika Mużika 2023.

Sitting in his car after watching footage from the show and trying to compose himself, Kurt apologised before explaining what had got him in his feelings.

“On stage, we have the in-ears, so we hear the music and ourselves, but you don’t really hear the crowd,” he explained.

“I always wanted to write a song that touched people… and now, hearing thousands of people singing a song I wrote in the studio a year and a half ago… hearing all those people, it’s like…” he trails off.

“I get so emotional because it’s a dream that has become reality.”
