Moroccan nationals and fans all over the world have been busy celebrating the achievements of the Moroccan national team in the ongoing World Cup – and Malta is no exception.

Football fans supporting Morocco have pretty much proven that they are among the most passionate and patriotic football supporters ever, this time hitting the streets of St Julian’s.

Following Morocco’s historic qualification into the World Cup Quarter Finals last night, a number of supporters took to the streets around Paceville.

Morocco’s performance in the World Cup has been stellar so far, even managing to eliminate 2014 champions Spain, to secure their spot in the Quarter Finals.

“I think we are the best supporters in Malta… so far anyway!” one person who was a part of the celebrations and sent in the footage told Lovin Malta.

Morocco will are now due to play Portugal on Saturday afternoon, in what could prove to be another monumental moment for the Atlas Lions.
