Watch: Norman Lowell Mocks Maltese Women For ‘Wanting To Become Men’ Instead Of Having Babies
Imperium Europa leader and MEP candidate Norman Lowell has launched a stinging attack against Maltese women for prioritising their careers instead of having more babies.
Lowell targeted women and Malta’s birth rate, which at 1.13 births is the lowest in Europe, when questioned about legal migration during a recent interview with university student Miirko Sant.
“The Maltese aren’t breeding; our birth rate is just over 1.1 and it will only take 2.1 to replace us. We’re below the waterline and if we keep going on like this, then the Maltese, Ġaħan or otherwise, will vanish within the next 50 years.”
Malta’s birth rate is indeed the lowest in Europe, and has been for a while, a phenomenon often associated with the high cost of living.
However, Lowell warned that the “best, most intelligent, creative and beautiful” Maltese women “aren’t having children” because they have been “brainwashed by the effete elite” into believing they should prioritise their careers.
“You can see them in court with their jackets and they look like men from behind. They try to flatten their breasts and wear men’s shoes. They want to become men, how pathetic and ridiculous.”
He warned that Parliament’s “quick-fix solution” to Malta’s low-birth rate is to import workers from around the world, which he claimed is leading to an explosion in construction, environmental destruction and crime.
Lowell has steadily increased his votes at every European Parliament election – from 1,603 first-count votes in 2004 to 8,238 in 2019. This meant he finished the race as the 8th most popular candidate, only two spots away from a seat in Europe.
