Watch: Rubbish Spills All Over Swatar Street After Garbage Truck Malfunctions
A Swatar resident found a serious load of rubbish near his home this morning after a truck malfunctioned.
“When this incident happened, the smell was so bad I couldn’t pass from the street,” the resident told Lovin Malta, sharing images of bags of garbage spilling out of the back of a rubbish truck.
The incident happened at around 11am in Triq P. Borg Olivier.
The resident said the rubbish was removed by around 1pm, when they “fixed the truck and cleaned the area”.
