WATCH: St Paul’s Bay Teen At Risk Of Dying After Nasty Traffic Accident In Mosta

A 19-year-old male from St Paul’s Bay has been left with life-threatening injuries following a late night crash in Mosta last night.
The nasty-looking accident last night in Triq Valletta, Mosta left a trail of debris and three hospitalised after a Toyota Corolla and a Smart collided with each other.
Footage sent to Lovin Malta shows the immediate aftermath of the accident, with emergency responders on the scene as they deal with the severely damaged cars.

The St Paul’s Bay youth was riding as a passenger in the Toyota Corolla being driven by another 19-year-old from Mosta, while a 38-year-old woman from Attard was driving the Smart. Police said the youth lost control of the Toyota Corolla and collided into the Smart at around 9pm.

The three were hospitalised and given medical treatment at Mater Dei Hospital, with the two drivers being certified with grievous injuries and the passenger confirmed to have serious injuries.
Magistrate Leonard Caruana has opened an inquiry into accident. A police investigation into the accident is still underway.
