So, guys, in case you’re under a rock at the moment: Akon is in Malta. He’s closing the AI and Blockchain summit this evening, but before he takes to the stage to deliver an unforgettable performance he was one of the speakers for the event.
Last night, the global hip-hop star was among the list of speakers at the Blockchain Awards last night, where he opened his speech by calling out politicians for “making the choice for us”.
Referencing a time where humanity will need to come together in order to survive, he tells the audience that “we can’t let politicians make those decisions for us” before closing his speech by saying:
“To bring it all together, I want to try and create options and opportunities to empower on days like this. I just want to remind you of your spirituality, sometimes we forget to add this to our daily life, but some of us don’t and I think that’s what makes the difference.”
