After Malta has enjoyed a wonderful summer with endless sunny days, it seems the end is soon near.

Initial forecast indications are pointing towards force seven winds and stormy weather, that could hit the Maltese islands as early as next week.

Local weather page ‘It-Temp Madwarna’ explained how the summer season is nearing its end, with the meteorological summer having already ended, and the physical summer having around a week left. 

It predicted that the last week of September will see very unstable weather, even though summer this year was actually a bit longer.

It also explained that much colder air will penetrate the central Mediterranean area with the possibility of leading to intense storms as a result.
