The Worst Might Be Over, But The Wind Isn’t Quite Done With Malta Yet
After the apocalyptic weekend Malta was battered with less than 48 hours ago, the islands woke up to a relatively calm (albeit chilly) Monday this morning. However, while the worst seems to be over, we’re still in for some strong winds this week. Here’s the weather for the calm after what seems to have been Malta’s biggest storm ever.
Today’s fresh start will persist throughout the day, with the highest temperature feeling like 10°C thanks to strong East Northeasterly winds hitting Force 6. In fact, this morning started with a yellow warning on the strong winds over the islands.
As for the rest of the week, Malta’s looking at relatively cold temperatures (particularly at night, with lows of 7°C and 8°C across practically every single day) and moderate to strong winds of Forces 4, 5 and even 6.
Cloudy days will still be the norm for this week, with some isolated showers potentially returning to the islands as early as today.
As far as the first day of March goes, Friday is looking relatively warmer (with highs of 16°C and lows of 11°C)… but wouldn’t you know, we’re also going to go back to Force 7 winds.
