Will It? Won’t It? Summer’s Last Weekend Is Here, And Here’s What The Weather In Malta Will Be Like

Article Featured Image

In between the recent arrival of rain and thunder over the islands and the final hours of summer 2019 finally coming this weekend, many will be hoping it’s time to break out the hoodies and umbrellas. Well… you might have to wait a bit.

Turns out the weather for this weekend isn’t looking as bad as initially posited, with highs that feel just around 30°C still making their way to Malta over the next couple of days. Pair that with southerly winds and balmy evenings of 23°C, and it looks like summer will be serving up some warmth until its final hours.

The first couple of days this weekend are however looking rather cloudy, and winds might even end up going up to Force 5 at certain moments. So while it might not be jacket season just yet, maybe it’s still a good idea to pack a thin zip-up if you’re planning one final summer BBQ this weekend.

Thanks for all the memories and until next year!
